Gameloft has confirmed that Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea, the fourth paid expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley, will arrive in November 2026.

The studio provided details about the expansion’s core features, guest characters, and an upcoming showcase stream that will reveal more about the new content.

The base game and the Disney Dreamlight Valley Nintendo Switch 2 Edition are currently available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.

The Keepsake Sea expands Dreamlight Valley’s island-based life-sim and narrative formula by taking players beneath the waves.

Gameloft says the expansion transforms player avatars into Merfolk and sends them on an underwater journey to a distant kingdom where vestiges of the past form the backdrop for new story beats.

Alongside the underwater narrative, the expansion introduces brand-new biomes and fully customisable areas designed specifically for the aquatic setting.

Gameloft described the player experience as a deep-sea adventure in which you explore mysterious underwater zones and uncover the secrets of a faraway kingdom, meeting notable Disney characters along the way.

The studio confirmed that Milo Thatch from Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, and Megara from Hercules appear in the expansion’s storyline.

The developer also outlined that The Keepsake Sea will bring multiple new spaces to customise, new underwater areas to investigate, and a fresh storyline thread that connects to the larger Dreamlight Valley experience.

An expansion trailer has been released alongside Gameloft’s announcement, offering a first look at animation, biomes, and character appearances.

To provide more detail, Gameloft will host a Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea Showcase stream on 21 October 2026.

The stream is expected to walk through the expansion’s characters, biomes, features, and gameplay systems ahead of the November release window.

For players on Nintendo hardware, Disney Dreamlight Valley and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition remain available on the Nintendo eShop and in retail stores.

Gameloft’s announcement sets a clear timeline for fans and gives publishers, platform holders, and content creators a focal point for coverage in October and November 2026.
