Dinkum Announced for Nintendo Switch: Release Date, Features, and Sales Milestones

Krafton has officially announced that Dinkum, the popular survival life simulation game, is headed to Nintendo Switch as a timed console exclusive.

The game is set to launch on November 5, 2025, delivering its acclaimed gameplay to a new audience on Nintendo’s hybrid system.

Fans eager to experience Dinkum firsthand can access a playable demo, available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Dinkum draws inspiration from the Australian outback, offering players an immersive life sim experience set on a vast, untamed island.

Players take on the role of pioneers, building and customizing settlements, exploring diverse biomes, and managing resources through activities like farming, fishing, crafting, hunting, and ranching.

The Nintendo Switch version expands the game’s accessibility, introducing co-op multiplayer for up to four players—allowing friends to work together and nurture their communities. After five years in development, Dinkum initially entered Steam Early Access in July 2022.

The game reached its full 1.0 release in April 2025, following continuous updates and feedback from its passionate player base.
