According to ScouBsmk's latest update, Endurance mode challenges players to race against time, rather than merely outpacing opponents.

Every racer starts with 30 seconds on the clock and must complete each lap before their time runs out.

Upon finishing a lap, the next lap's countdown is determined based on the previous lap time plus a custom margin, adding a unique strategic twist to the experience. Players are encouraged to set and maintain a consistent, repeatable lap pace, rather than attempting a single fast lap that could jeopardize subsequent rounds.

The number of laps completed is prominently displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen, and, in a nod to classic Nintendo design, exceeding 99 laps results in a familiar 1Up sound before the counter resets.

This endurance-based approach promises a new layer of challenge and an opportunity to test players’ mastery of each track. Despite steady progress and multiple teaser trailers, the development team has not provided a firm release date for Super Mario Kart Deluxe.
