Neon Noodles Nintendo Switch Release Date Confirmed: Cyberpunk Puzzle Game Arrives July 2025

Eastasiasoft has officially announced that the cyberpunk kitchen automation puzzle game Neon Noodles will launch for Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2025.

Developed by Vivid Helix, Neon Noodles challenges players to orchestrate culinary mastery in a futuristic world dominated by precision, automation, and high-stakes cooking. Originally developed for PC by solo developer Radu Muresan, Neon Noodles places players in the role of a mysterious protagonist who awakens without memories in a dystopian society.

Rising through the ranks of a Criminal Rehabilitation Program, players must uncover their true identity while managing and optimizing Neon Noodles, a cutting-edge food production facility. In Neon Noodles, players take control of a high-tech kitchen, where the key to progression lies in programming the movements of robotic chefs.

There are over 250 unique recipes to create, utilizing more than 400 diverse ingredients.

The gameplay emphasizes creativity and problem-solving, as users design intricate machines and streamline their food production lines to meet various culinary challenges, all set against a backdrop where food equates to power. A significant aspect of Neon Noodles is its robust controller support, which was designed from the project's inception.

Radu Muresan, founder of Vivid Helix and the game's solo developer, explained, "Neon Noodles was planned with full controller integration in mind to give players the flexibility to build, optimize, and beautify their kitchen layouts in a truly immersive cyberpunk future." Muresan noted that the idea for the game emerged after playing other cooking titles and wanting to create a single-player experience focused on programming rather than real-time coordination, adding, "Instead of shouting commands, you get to program your very own robots." Eastasiasoft's role as publisher ensures a digital release through the Nintendo eShop, allowing Nintendo Switch players worldwide to experience Neon Noodles on launch day.

The publisher is recognized for bringing unique indie experiences to the platform, further cementing its reputation among the Nintendo gaming community.
