Chicken Run: Eggstraction Release Date Confirmed for Nintendo Switch

Outright Games and Aardman have officially announced the release date for their anticipated action-stealth title, Chicken Run: Eggstraction, set to launch on Nintendo Switch on October 24, 2025.

Building on the legacy of the classic animated franchise and following the recent film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, this new installment invites both fans and newcomers to embark on a daring adventure designed to charm and challenge players. Chicken Run: Eggstraction picks up where the latest movie left off, reuniting audiences with the franchise’s iconic feathered heroes.

In this action-packed stealth game, players undertake high-stakes missions across five fortified farms, each filled with heightened security challenges.

Players must rely on their wits and strategy to outmaneuver surveillance cameras, avoid attentive farmhands, and even take cover in everyday objects such as traffic cones—all in a quest to free captive chickens from the clutches of an ominous nugget industry. The game is crafted for both solo gamers and those seeking a cooperative experience, with support for local co-op multiplayer for up to two players.

Chicken Run: Eggstraction also features voices from the cinematic universe, including Bella Ramsey and Josie Sedgwick-Davies reprising their roles as Molly and Frizzle.

Written in collaboration with Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget contributor Larry Rickard, the game’s narrative promises the quirky humor and heart that fans expect from Aardman productions.

Players can also look forward to new villainous poultry adversaries and a special cameo from Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, further expanding Aardman’s creative universe.
