Nintendo Confirms Cast for The Legend of Zelda Movie: Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda

Nintendo has officially revealed the lead cast for its highly anticipated live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda.

The announcement, made on the Nintendo Today app, confirms Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the iconic hero Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda.

This major casting news arrives as excitement continues to build for one of Nintendo’s most beloved franchises, set to make its big-screen debut in 2027. The Legend of Zelda has long been a cornerstone of Nintendo’s game portfolio, with its debut on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1986.

The film is scheduled for release in theaters on May 7, 2027." The Legend of Zelda movie is slated for a global theatrical launch on May 7, 2027.
