Atlus Reports 92% Operating Profit Growth Following Strong Persona Releases

Atlus posts strong fiscal gains as Persona titles drive momentum

Atlus, the developer and publisher best known for the Persona series and part of Sega Group, has reported a significant improvement in profitability in its most recent fiscal results.

The company attributed the uplift in part to the commercial performance of recent releases, listing Raidou Remastered, Persona 5: The Phantom X, and Persona 3 Reload among titles that contributed to the period’s success.

Clear numbers underline the company’s progress.

Atlus reported operating profit increased by 92.5% year-on-year, while net profit rose 74.2%.

In plain terms, the fiscal statement indicates Atlus achieved roughly a 92% jump in operating profit compared with the prior year and delivered a mid‑seventy percent gain in net earnings.

Atlus credited the improved financials to a combination of new releases, remasters and continued interest in the Persona brand.

Recent re-releases and refreshed entries have helped broaden the franchise’s audience across platforms; Atlus has historically supported a multi-platform strategy that includes ports and digital distribution on Nintendo Switch and other consoles, alongside PC and PlayStation platforms.

The company also identified its forthcoming projects in the same update.

Atlus listed Persona 4 Revival and the next numbered mainline entry, Persona 6, among its future development slate.

These projects were presented as part of the studio’s ongoing roadmap and signal continued investment in the core franchise.

What this means for Nintendo platforms

While platform-specific sales figures were not disclosed in the fiscal summary, Atlus’s strategy of bringing legacy and new Persona experiences to consoles and digital storefronts, including the Nintendo eShop, keeps the franchise visible to Nintendo Switch owners and other console audiences.

Continued remasters and high-profile releases can drive catalog sales and long-term brand engagement across hardware generations.

Outlook

The fiscal report positions Atlus as a commercially healthy studio within Sega’s portfolio, buoyed by the Persona series’ sustained market relevance.

With Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 listed among upcoming projects, Atlus is signaling further major investments in its flagship IP, an important detail for publishers, platform holders and industry observers tracking the franchise’s next moves.
