Assassin's Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan Event Arrives for Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

Ubisoft is gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 by bringing Assassin’s Creed Shadows to the next-generation platform this December.

The acclaimed developer, known for its expansive open-world designs, has confirmed that fans can look forward to an exciting crossover featuring Attack on Titan, the hit manga and anime franchise.

This collaborative event is poised to enhance the Assassin's Creed Shadows experience right in time for the console's debut, highlighting Ubisoft's commitment to delivering fresh, engaging content for Switch fans. The Assassin's Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan event will commence on November 25, 2025, and continue through December 22, 2025, ensuring that Nintendo Switch 2 players can participate shortly after picking up the game on the new platform.

Details from Ubisoft’s official channels reveal that a mysterious faction wielding the dangerous power of a kidnapped Titan-Shifter has invaded feudal Japan, aiming for domination.

When an initial rescue attempt fails, the sole remaining survivor with a hidden past enlists protagonists Naoe and Yasuke to thwart the group’s plan to unleash a Titan on Japan. Players will access this crossover quest through a dedicated quest giver in the Yamashiro region, specifically north of Hanazo Tower, as marked on the in-game map.

Notably, the quest becomes available only after direct interaction with the quest giver and once Yasuke has been unlocked as a playable character.

The event quest offers a range of exclusive in-game rewards: players can discover new hideout customizations—including banners and a statue—and upon completing the quest, Naoe is awarded a crystal katana. Beyond the story-driven mission, the collaboration extends to the in-game store with the Attack on Titan Dual Pack.

Available starting November 25, this pack features a selection of Attack on Titan–inspired outfits, weapons, trinkets, and even a new mount, letting fans bring additional fan-favorite elements into Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ubisoft has also revealed that its popular free-to-play fighter, Brawlhalla, will welcome Attack on Titan content with a crossover event launching December 3, 2025.

This move expands the reach of the Attack on Titan IP across multiple Ubisoft titles, reinforcing the company’s ongoing strategy of high-profile collaborations and live event support across its major franchises. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set for a December release on Nintendo Switch 2, following Ubisoft’s successful history of supporting Nintendo hardware with both mainline titles and crossover events.

The Switch 2's hardware capabilities and robust eShop ecosystem provide an ideal platform for innovative events such as this, promising an enriched experience for long-time Assassin's Creed and Attack on Titan fans alike.
