Arrangements adjust based on in-game time and context, creating a medley-like experience that heightens immersion for both new and veteran players. When asked about course variety, Yabuki shared that the interconnected nature of the new game blurs the line between traditional tracks and open-world exploration—offering well over 100 unique course variations.

The increased scope demanded substantially more content in visual design, programming, and audio, resulting in the most varied gameplay the series has ever offered.
