Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition Brings Classic RPG to Nintendo Switch July 2025

At the recent PC Gaming Show, Aspyr revealed that the revered fantasy RPG Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter Nights 2 is making its long-anticipated debut on modern consoles, including the Nintendo Switch.

Originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and released in 2006, Neverwinter Nights 2 has been celebrated as a cornerstone of computer role-playing games.

This new Enhanced Edition, officially launching on July 15, 2025, marks the first time the full saga is accessible on console hardware, retailing at $29.99 USD. Aspyr’s enhanced release follows its successful launch of the first Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition for Nintendo Switch in 2019, which introduced a new generation of players to BioWare's original RPG classic.
