Henderson explained, "Plans for Star Wars Outlaws 2 were underway, but it never advanced beyond very early development.

The team ultimately made the decision not to move forward with the project." No official reasons for the cancellation have been disclosed. The cancellation comes at a time when the original Star Wars Outlaws continues to capture players’ attention, with its most recent downloadable content now complete.
