According to the Redditor, their home caught fire approximately a year ago, with the blaze originating in the very room where their Nintendo Switch was being kept.

In the aftermath, nearly all items in the room bore significant fire damage or were destroyed entirely.

The user recounted how the TV—which was positioned in front of the Nintendo Switch—likely shielded the console from the worst of the flames and heat.
