Pre-orders for the vinyl LP are now available through Mana Wave Media’s official website, with international shipments offered—except for residents of the United Kingdom, due to current VAT laws. Originally launched in arcades and later on various home platforms in 1994, Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (known as Vampire in Japan) took the fighting game genre by storm with its unique blend of horror-inspired characters and fast-paced gameplay.

Developed by Capcom, the title quickly developed a cult following thanks to its imaginative roster—featuring characters such as Demitri Maximoff, Morrigan Aensland, and Jon Talbain—and vibrant, gothic visuals. Mana Wave Media’s newly announced vinyl release, created in partnership with Capcom, will feature 44 original tracks composed by Takayuki Iwai and Hideki Okugawa.

The box set version is particularly noteworthy, containing a pink and black 180g vinyl record and an expansive 100-page art book, which, according to official statements from Mana Wave Media, features character illustrations, reference art, and key visuals from the entire Darkstalkers series. International fans have something to celebrate, but those in the United Kingdom will face disappointment.

According to Mana Wave Media’s official shipping FAQ, changes to VAT policies and limited resources currently prevent the company from fulfilling orders to the UK.

As a result, UK-based Darkstalkers fans may need to wait or seek alternative means for obtaining the vinyl release, unless another distributor steps in for local distribution. Darkstalkers’ legacy remains strong nearly three decades after its release.

The franchise received two sequels—Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 (Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire)—and recently reappeared in the Capcom Fighting Collection for Nintendo Switch and other platforms in 2022.
