Valorware has officially announced that 9th Dawn Remake, a complete overhaul of their acclaimed open-world RPG, will release for Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025.
This reimagined version brings extensive enhancements, including new 2.5D visuals, overhauled dungeons, fluid action-based combat, and both online and local cooperative multiplayer, ensuring its appeal to both new and longtime fans of the series.
First launched as an indie sleeper hit, the original 9th Dawn garnered praise for its sprawling world, deep looting mechanics, and robust quest design, making it a standout in the RPG genre.
The remake takes these core elements and expands them significantly.
Players can now immerse themselves in more than 200 hours of rich gameplay, exploring vast hand-crafted environments, delving into 45+ newly designed dungeons, and collecting rare treasures while venturing through Montelorne and beyond.
Valorware’s redesign includes newly animated and refined sprites, larger and more intricate dungeon layouts, and a completely rewritten narrative with fresh quests.
